Our journey

About our more than 10 year journey

Our story began in our first year of college. We have been following each other around, always supported each other until graduation but also afterwards, followed both of us doctoral theses in France (yes, we are a couple of geeks, as they say 😊), and then came to Australia for work as researcher scientists, the country that has received both of us with open arms.

We walked together a long way, sprinkled with many pleasant memories, but also hard times. We are ready to move on to a new stage of our life and enjoy the next steps of our relationship together as a married couple. Below are just some pictures over the years that have made us a couple.

2006: University students in Bucharest.

2009 - 2010: Trips to Germany and French Alps while being PhD students in France.

August 2013: Business and tourist visit to China for the “International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence”.

August 2014- Business and tourist visit to South Africa for the IFAC World Congress.

January 2015: Trips in Australia (Treetop adventures and Great Ocean Road).

Official marriage from Australia

We are actually already married! Living in Australia, we had the chance to celebrate our official wedding ceremony right on the beach, surrounded by our friends from the land down under.

More specifically, it all happened on March 10, 2018, which was a gorgeous day, full of emotions and good will, celebrated on the beach in the sound of waves and playful seagulls. Check the beach wedding photos page for some pictures of our civil wedding day.
